After my long career in real estate, I am not easily impressed by real estate “how-to” books, but Flipping for a living Brian Weber has impressed me. Ten or twenty years ago, I would have objected to various methods or procedures that you suggest. However, times have changed and today is a different market. More than several other authors I’ve read lately, he’s convinced me that he knows what he’s doing. Of all the “how to change this house” or “how to rehab and change that house” books that I have read and reviewed in the last 14 months, this stands out as an incredibly effective approach to buying, rehabbing and selling homes!

I know you’ve seen those late-night infomercials that promise us the ability to buy houses with a $ 0 down payment. They promise to teach you how to become a millionaire in just a few short months! All you have to do is buy the kit that tells you the INCREDIBLE secret for only 6 payments of $ 49.99, 100 dollars off the value of the kit! Value? If it worked, there would be many more millionaires.

Brian Weber’s Flipping for a living It’s NOT like those late night infomercials. This book teaches you how to find the right houses in the right locations and in a price range you can afford. Describes how a property can be reversed very quickly by making the right decisions and be prepared with all the necessary documents.

Brian Weber, a man who admitted he barely finished high school and never finished his college degree, wrote Flipping for a living. The point of the matter is: if he can do it, YOU CAN TOO!

Weber realizes much more than the authors of similar courses that while rehabilitation is important, are the details of how you set the deal that will make you money.

I found that the most valuable chapters included in the book are:

*What about the money? Here are realistic and very useful tips on “meat and potatoes”.

*create a budget, make an offer and close the deal. The clearest and most understandable step-by-step practical advice I have come across from someone who has obviously been there, did.

*seasoning of the title and how to sell it. Weber provides an extremely valuable explanation of steps and strategies that are often lightly overlooked, but will put a lot more dollars in your pocket.

* house flipping ethic – doing the right thing! weber emphasizes making a profit while avoiding the shoddy tricks suggested by too many “how to change this house” courses.
