The following recipes are the ones that you will need to prepare in advance to take with you. See below for other recipes you can make while camping.

DRY FRUIT MIX

1 C. granola cereal

1/2 teaspoon salted sunflower kernels

1/2 teaspoon salted roasted soybeans

1/2 teaspoon chopped dates

1/2 teaspoon grapes

You will need: medium bowl, wooden spoon, dry measuring cups, jar. In a medium bowl, combine the cereal, sunflower kernels, soybeans, dates, and raisins with a wooden spoon. Store in a plastic jar or container with a tight lid. Makes 2 1/2 cups.

OAT TRAILSIDE DELIGHTS

1/2 teaspoon margarine

1/2 teaspoon peanut butter

1 C. sugar

1 C. brown sugar

2 eggs

1/4 teaspoon milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 tbsp. flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 1/2 teaspoons oats

1/2 teaspoon chocolate chips

1/2 teaspoon grapes

Walnuts

Beat the margarine, peanut butter, and sugars until creamy. Add the eggs, milk, and vanilla. Mix all the rest. Drop scoops (make small) onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 14 minutes. Remove before they turn brown, bake them little by little.

SPASMODIC

3 tablespoons liquid smoke

3 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon. season everything

2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon garlic salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 handful finely peeled beef or venison

Mix the first 6 ingredients. Add the meat. Place in a colander and place over another container to collect the fat. Let stand 12 hours in the refrigerator. Place the meat on cookie sheets and dry in the oven at a temperature of 150 to 200 degrees with the oven slightly open. Heat until all the moisture has disappeared from the meat.
