Pop singers today have so many digital enhancements to all of their songs, that for many artists if they actually had to sing their songs live and not lip sync to what was produced in a studio, many of the actual voices in the artist would be unrecognizable, if not broken glass and that is not the voice of the angels to which I refer, quite the opposite. Everything is image, tricks and publicity. So go out and create your own music, become your own pop star!
What is that you say? Don’t you play any musical instrument? Can’t read music? No problem, most of today’s pop stars are in the same boat as you. I went to my local Best Buy and bet $60 on a music program called Magix. He gave me a library of sample music, from drum beats, guitar cracks, and techno beats. In fact, it says on the box, and this time it’s not just for sale, no joke, it says Digital DJ, anyone can become a DJ, and that’s just an excerpt. The rest sounds like a second grade number color using Magix, the help, the instructions, the easy and easy to use features.
One thing, there is a prerequisite, you must have ears (this can be difficult for hearing impaired people or deaf people like my sister), with your ears you can create your own music. With this program or any other that may interest you more, with the same budget and services, you listen to what you like and what you don’t like and cut and paste different sounds accordingly. I was even able to jot down some letters and put them into the soft sounds I had just built with the program. What’s that? Do you have a terrible singing voice? Do not worry my friend; nor do most of today’s pop stars. You don’t even have to sing the lyrics to the song you’re creating. You can read your lyrics slowly in any tone of voice you want. The Magix program comes with a digital enhancer that you can speed up, slow down, and change your pitch from as low or as high as you like. You don’t need to worry about singing a lick, your computer will do it all for you using Magix.
About Magix: For what I wanted, which was what I got for a steal, I couldn’t find a comparable program to suggest. I suggest, as always, doing some of your own research to get what may work best for you. The important thing is to know what is available and have quality, affordable, tested and reviewed product information before you buy anything.
