Who has never had that dream of being a rock star? I think we’ve all had that at one time or another. It’s just natural. When you look at rock gods like Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen, Pete Townshend, etc… how could you not want to grab a guitar and start strumming? Unfortunately, it’s not that simple. At least it wasn’t for me.

When I first started learning guitar, I tried to find as many free guitar lessons online as I could, and I strongly advise you not to do this. Trust me when I say you get what you pay for. I know it’s a cliché, but it’s absolutely true. Heck, most PAID online guitar lessons are really bad, so you can imagine how horrible the free ones are.

I had to learn this the hard way. It is a kind of sign of the day and the time in which we live. We have so much information available thanks to the internet, but what nobody talks about is how bad most of it is. Think about it, ANYONE can create ANYTHING and sell it online. That is something most people forget. Most courses are put together without any real thought.

The best online guitar courses really do take the time to put money behind your project. We mean meaningful content, lots of videos, diagrams, expensive software, etc. This shows that the creators really put in the effort to make a quality product that they can be proud of, to help people with their passion to learn the guitar.

In my experience, I needed a guitar lesson course that really takes you by the hand and shows you very meticulously how it’s done. A clear, concise, step-by-step way is needed to show you how to play the guitar. It took me a long time but I finally found it.
