Thailand has a series of elite visa packages, starting at 500,000 Thai Baht and going up to two million Thai Baht. These packages can include more benefits and other services. Thailand Elite visa comes in two varieties – one for individuals, one for families. The family package has a one-off fee of approximately USD 30,000 for the main applicant, and another fee of approximately USD 22,500 for each family member. The benefits of the family visa are many, including the ability to bring their spouse and children to Thailand. There is no age limit for dependents, and the visa is not transferable. How Does Elite Visa Cost in Thailand?
The Thailand Elite program also offers extended stay options for family members. Those who are Core Members can add family members at a discounted rate. If they have no children, they can choose to extend their stay every year for no additional cost. Depending on how long they stay in Thailand, they can also apply for a retirement visa. However, they need to meet strict financial requirements such as having at least 800k in a Thai bank account, and a monthly income of at least 65k.
The Elite Visa has two types of membership: Core and Alternative. The former is for the main applicant while the latter grants membership to additional family members. Each type includes an annual fee, transfer fee, and a 90-day report. However, the elite family membership and the elite family premium membership both have additional benefits. In addition, each of these membership packages comes with an annual fee, which is equal to 20% of the prevailing application fee.
