Someone asked me if a Candida patient can donate blood to those who need it. A big accident has happened near his place of residence, so he feels he has to donate too. Well, since Candida is not recognized as a disease by leading medical authorities, I think they won’t turn you down for having Candida.

At first, I thought I wouldn’t give anyone any of the Candida and/or bacteria that I have in my blood, if I have those things in my blood. Then I realized that my contaminated blood (although not incurable) would be better than no blood at all. In other words, if your blood means the difference between life and death to someone, then don’t even worry about Candida.

My college friend had her Candida in her bloodstream. She donated twice, but we never thought it was a good idea. She didn’t want anyone else to go through what I went through, really. But it was clear now that that’s not so bad, from the moment I went and talked to my chiropractor.

My chiropractor, who is also a Candida survivor, told me that the blood is more important than the Candida. It seems that if someone is in such bad shape that they need blood, we have to put our Candida second. However, he suggested that we wait a week or two to donate. If there are so many people donating and there is a need in a couple of weeks, all of those people will not be eligible to donate again.
