The Bosch Tassimo Brewbot is so much more than just a regular coffee maker and I’ve read so many reviews based on the Brewbot Model TAS4511UC that I just had to get my hands on one and review it myself. I’ll admit I’m a huge caffeine addict and I love all types of hot beverages that contain caffeine. I have been through many coffee makers in the past and have even had a few vacuum coffee makers. How does it work?
The way T Discs work is that it has a special barcode on it and when you put the pod in the Tassimo Brewbot it will read the barcode and know what kind of drink it is supposed to make. So let’s say you have a T Disc that has caramel-flavored cappuccino and then you have a friend who wants decaf. Well, all you need to do is have two different T Discs and insert one of them, start the brewbot and wait about a minute. Once you’ve finished your first shot, you can place a clean cup under the brewbot and insert a new T Disc and start your next shot. So do you understand what I’m saying here? Yes, you can prepare several different types of drinks for yourself and your guests in a matter of minutes. All you need is a few different flavors of T Discs and you can serve yourself and any guests that come over without making a big mess.
How is the quality?
The quality of the design is very good, it has a very elegant design and the border joins it very well. You can also choose to order your Brewbot in color options of black or white. It also comes with adapters to fit under the water spout in case you want to use different sized cups for your drink of choice. And you can practically throw away the instructions because using the Brewbot is so simple that anyone can do it.

It’s that simple and it couldn’t be simpler. You basically get an advanced machine that is easy to use and makes you wonder why someone didn’t come up with something like this sooner.
Does this device need to be cleaned from time to time?
Yes, from time to time you will need to refill the Brewbot with water and you will also need to clean it from time to time. Initial setup and cleanup are pretty straightforward. You fill it with water and insert a special cleaning disk, then pour a cup of water in five times and let it basically “brew” itself. The cleaning discs are similar to the other T Discs and have a barcode that basically tells the drive to run water through it.
How fresh is the taste?
Coffee tastes great when brewed with the Brewbot and if you feel your cup is too strong, you also have the option of pressing the button on the Brewbot to add more hot water to your cup. I also found out when I ordered the Cappuccino T Discs that they come in 2 separate pods. If you want to make a cappuccino with the Brewbot, you will have 2 separate T-disks to use, one for the frothy cream and one for the espresso to make your cappuccino. It takes about 2-3 minutes total for a cappuccino and it’s pretty easy to make.

The coffee tastes exceptionally much better due to the sealed plastic T-Discs it uses. Sealed T-Discs mean no air can get in, so you get a fresh cup every time you use the Brewbot. It is a very smart and cool device that has the ability to create hot chocolate, chai tea, coffee, cappuccino, espresso and cream.
