I love when the kids have something new to play with. I remembered when I was a kid the last time, things were slow and not that creative. Kids these days not only have the computer and some even surf the internet at a young age, but they also have creative toy companies that come up with all sorts of fun ideas. Fortunately, they understand that parents shouldn’t spend too much money on toys and that there are some quality but cheap toys on the market.
Take for example the word Bakugan. Bakugan? Have you ever heard of this word? If you haven’t, where have you been recently? Bakugan toys are one of the latest toy fads that has taken the world by storm. Kids and teens of all ages who watch Bakugan Battle Brawlers on TV have stormed the toy storms demanding toy store owners hand over their Bakugan. Well okay, I am exaggerating a bit but I know many people bought Bakugan starter packs and even Bakugan booster packs and built their collection of Bakugan battle fighters. So brave that I don’t think I can challenge these kids to a battle!
Anyway, I’ve gotten a bit off track. Bakugan toys or not, these toys are just little balls that you can hold in your hand. The balls contain magnets and so when you throw these Bakugan Balls on the ground and it hits a card with a metal inside, the ball pops open to reveal a Bakugan Pocket Monster! Such a simple design, but the creators have created an entire game and TV series based on this Bakugan toy concept. Then of course there are the Pokémon or pocket monsters, another type of pocket monster but not to be confused with the Bakugan. Pokemon toys like Bakugan were introduced by Japanese game and toy companies. Not that I want to congratulate the Japanese, but they seem to have dominated the toy market with cute and cheap toys. If you know things like Transformers or Hello Kitty, you’ll know what I’m talking about here! Visit Japan whenever you get the chance and you’ll be Kawaii (Japanese for cute) all the way! So if you want to buy some toys, and I’m sure you would since Christmas is coming up, you’ll want to check prices online. Online toy stores like Amazon or Toys R Us often have a lot of great deals during the festive season like Christmas.
