It’s almost time for the December LSAT. The LSAT is the standard test for admission to law school. This short article will cover some quick ideas on how to prepare for the LSAT and what to do after you’ve finally taken the test in December.

If you’re just starting to think about the December LSAT, you should keep in mind that the December version of the exam is your last chance to take the exam in time to complete your applications to the top law schools in the country in time for the fall. admissions Some Tier 3 and Tier 4 schools may accept February LSAT scores, but remember the general rule is that if you want to start school during the fall, you must take the June, October, or December LSAT in the year before your inscription.

At a minimum, you’ll need four weeks to prepare for the test once you’ve chosen the right LSAT preparation materials. For over ten years I have been fortunate to help prospective law students prepare for the LSAT, and the best LSAT preparation materials I have found meet, at a minimum, the following criteria: 1) they are widely available 2) they are affordable (less than $100) and 3) have been reviewed by experts and industry professionals and 4) have a long and proven track record of improving the scores of those who use the programs.

Also remember that even if you don’t get the score you would have liked on the LSAT, all is not lost. Applications to law school are generally made in the United States, and therefore you will find a less competitive law school admissions cycle than usual. Also, the LSAT is just another standardized test. If you don’t score well on the LSAT, this doesn’t speak to your intelligence or your ability to be a lawyer, it only speaks to your ability to do well on standardized tests. This means that if you score poorly on the LSAT, you should still try to gain admission to your target schools. Work hard to explain to them in your application, essays, and interviews how dedicated you are to the pursuit of becoming a lawyer.
